What Is AIDS?-(Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome)

      HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus)is a virus that attacks the body's immune system which is a defense against infectious organisms and other invaders. but This virus makes it progressively more difficult to fight infections and diseases. Once HIV advances and becomes so severe that the body's immune system is too weak to fight off many infections, it is called AIDS.

History of world AIDS day-

     World AIDS day designated on 1st December, every year since 1988 its an international day. This is one of the 8th official World Health Organization (WHO) day. Since its Begin over twenty years ago, the world has managed to Stop and reverse the spread of HIV. According to the World Health Organization, the occurrence of new cases has decreased 35% between 2000 and 2015, That means AIDS-related deaths have decreased by 24% over the same time frame, all thanks to antiretroviral treatments and widespread AIDS education and awareness.

About the Symbol-

       The Red Ribbon is the universal symbol of support for those, who are living with HIV/AIDS.

         Wearing a Red ribbon is a great way to support during the run-up to World AIDS day.
       In 1991, In New York, some artist gathered in a gallery to discuss a new project to support for people living with HIV. Their discussion was about what will become the most recognized symbol to support for people living with HIV. They avoided traditional color like pink and rainbow because they wanted to convey that HIV is relevant to everyone. So they chose red for its boldness, and for its symbolic association with passion the heart and love. later this symbol becomes famous. and it has inspired other charity also, like pink breast cancer...

Keep the promise (Stop Aids)-

        The first case of what is now known as AIDS was reported in the US in June 1981. According to the Centers for Disease Control, more than a million people in the United States are living with HIV infection, and almost 1 in 7 in them don't know it. Gay and bisexual men are the population most affected by HIV. In 2016. By 2016 estimates 36.7 million people were affected and living with AIDS around the world. In that 2.11 million person in India. In 2017 making it the third largest in the world and largest in Asia.

Stop AIDS Keep the promise

           HIV is one of the most killer virus in killing history, It killed more than 25 million people between 1981- 2007.
    

    Whether a person is affected by HIV, he/she has three important right.  

1. First right to inform straightly
 Testing for HIV requires specific and informed to allow the person being tested.
 2. Second right He/She can be confidential 
By India's law, if the affected person afraid to move the court to take their revenge for becoming a public knowledge, They can use Pseudonym (fake name).
3. Third right Against discrimination
    They have the right to treated equally.

Do you know the world oldest wine still open or not?

World oldest wine-

Speyer wine is the oldest wine in the world. It was found in the year of 1867 at Speyer which is a town in Germany. It named according to the town where it was found.

About the bottle- 

The bottle has been dated between 325 and 350 AD. It is a 1.5-liter bottle which it looks like "shoulders," with dolphin-shaped hand. Yellow-green in color.


The golden age of wine-

The period from around 1810 until 1875 has been termed by modern historians as the golden age of the wine. In northern Europe, the industrial revolution and the influx of wealth from expanding overseas empires was providing a growing middle class with resources for luxuries, some of which included wine. This wine was found in the year 1867 during the period of the golden age.

Greece is the god of wine. A person who didn't drink wine in ancient Greece was considered a barbarian and the Greeks worshiped Dionysus as the God of wine and partying. The Romans adopted their love for wine from the Greek. When a Romanian die and buried wine bottle kept with them.

A Roman noble was buried with a bottle of locally produced wine around 350 AD at Speyer in Germany.  When his Grave was unearthed near the city of Speyer in Germany, the researchers were shocked to see that there was still liquid within the bottle, As per the report of Natalia Klimczak.

Different opinion about the bottle should be open or not:-

Many historians and expert have given Their different opinion and there is the debate that the Speyer bottle should open or not. The historians think if they open the bottle which is recognized as the oldest wine, then this will not be historical anymore. Till now the bottle is unopened. Pfalz Historical Museum in Germany has been given the home to the legendary 1,650-year-old bottle that is sealed with wax and olive oil was poured into the bottle to preserve the wine. No research team dares to open it though it’s curious for everyone. Many microbiologists insisting that the opening of the bottle could be dangerous. Don’t know how it will react with air. wine Professor Monika Christmann added, “Microbiologically it is probably not spoiled, but it would not bring joy to the palate.”

FORTIFIED WINE-  Fortified Wine is like regular grapes wine which have been given an alcohol boost with adding brandy during fermentation or after fermentation. The alcohol content of these wine is 15-21  percent. Some popular fortified wines are…

1.   Port Wine- 

     This dedicate and Cheerfull wine is the worlds greatest fortified wine by Portugal. They have created this wine at the beginning of the eighteenth century in the Duoro Valley in Portugal. Usually, this wine served after mill as a digestive. There are the different type of port__

(a) Ruby port-

This wine matures in the shortest time in cask(wine-filled barrel) (6 months or 1 year), And it comes with deep ruby color.
(B) Tawny Port-

This wine used to keep longer in cask (2 years or more). These wine are less sweet and lighter than ruby. It comes with brownies color.

(c) Crusted port-

Crusted port is a blended or high-quality wine usually from a different vintage, and its kept for several years in cask and for more in the bottles.  It is a well-balanced wine.

(d) White port-

This wine is made from White grapes and it made same like tawny port.

(e) Late bottled port-

This wine is kept longer in cask (10-30 years). This is a vintage port wine when the maker finds the grapes in a better position In the particular year.


2.  Sherry-

It is a blended fortified wine from the town of Jerez in  Spain. There are two categories of sherry: FINO and OLOROSA.

        Both are dry wine but they converted to medium or sweet wine by blending. For coloring secondary wine can be used. This wine served before a meal as an aperitif.

3.  Medeira-

This wine is executed from the soil and climate of the island of Madeira, but mainly from the cooking process. The wine is put into a hot room and heated to a temperature of 90-140°F for a few months. It can serve as an aperitif, Soup wine, dessert wine, or an after-dinner wine. The most special feature of Madeira is its curious smoky after taste.

4.  Marsala-

This wine is the main dessert wine in Italy, produced in Sicily. This wine is dark and strong flavor wine with scorched (Burnt) taste like Madeira.

What is Wine?- Wine is an alcoholic beverage, which is the fermentation of the juice of fresh grapes.

CLASSIFICATION OF WINE:

           Wine can be dry or Sweet, Depending on their sugar content. Their color can also vary from red, white or rose. Sparkling wine is white or pink.
Wine classified into…
1.    Still Wine
2.    Sparkling Wine
3.    Fortified Wine
4.    Aromatized Wine

1.Still wine-
Still, wine includes red, white & Rose wines. These wines do not contain Carbon dioxide. The alcohol content of this wines is between 12-16 percent.

(a). Red wine-
Red wine is made by fermenting dark-color grapes. It server in between 14-16℃ (sometimes it depend on the place where you service).

(b).White wine-
White wine can make by red or white both grapes, whose skins are removed from the must before the wine absorb their color. White wine served between 8-10℃ (sometimes it depend on the place where you service).

(c).Rose wine-
Rose wine made as same as like white wine, but the difference is the grapes skin left longer than white wine to extract the color of rose. This wine served chilled, in between 3-5℃.


2. Sparkling wine-
During secondary fermentation carbon dioxide infused in these wine to make it fizzy. Champagne is the king of sparkling wine. The alcohol content of this wine is less than 14 percent. This wine served chilled, in between 3-5℃.

Fortified Wine is like regular grapes wine which have been given an alcohol boost with adding brandy during fermentation or after fermentation. Fortified wine includes port, sherry, Madeira and Marsala. The alcohol content of this wine is 15-21  percent.

4. Aromatized Wine-
Aromatized wines are mixed with brandy or natural spirits to give more alcohol boost. Later its flavor with herbs, bark, roots, flower, quinine and other botanicals. This wine includes vermouth(aromatized fortified Wine), bitter and anise. The alcohol content of this wine is 15-55 percent.
