About the Symbol-
The Red Ribbon is the universal symbol of support for those, who are living with HIV/AIDS.
Wearing a Red ribbon is a great way to support during the run-up to World AIDS day.
In 1991, In New York, some artist gathered in a gallery to discuss a new project to support for people living with HIV. Their discussion was about what will become the most recognized symbol to support for people living with HIV. They avoided traditional color like pink and rainbow because they wanted to convey that HIV is relevant to everyone. So they chose red for its boldness, and for its symbolic association with passion the heart and love. later this symbol becomes famous. and it has inspired other charity also, like pink breast cancer...
